Man indicted for crime spree after prison release

PHOENIX (AP) – A Maricopa County grand jury has indicted a man in connection with the sexual assaults of two 15-year-old girls in south Phoenix and the robbery of a woman hours after he was released from prison.

Authorities say 29-year-old Salvador Medina was released on parole from the state Department of Corrections on Aug. 6 after serving a four-year sentence for sexual abuse/dangerous crime against children.
