In Casa Grande, law enforcement officials shut down more than a dozen locations allegedly distributing drugs or taking part in criminal activity, which included one home that was the suspected center of a large drug processing plant. The arrests culminated in a combined 107 felony counts ranging as high as Class Two felonies.
Two of the indicted defendants traveled to south Phoenix and purchased large quantities of liquid PCP and then distributed this PCP at street-level in the form of “sherm-sticks” (a standard cigarette dipped in PCP). The individual “sherm-sticks” were sold in Casa Grande and Coolidge areas for approximately $10 to $15 each.
